My personal recommendation if your budget permits, is to book a mid range option on a sailing vessel like the Orsom Catamaran or the Eco Catamaran. On the trips that last more than 45 minutes and go out of the harbour into open water, The Captain will switch off or idle the engines and hoist the sails for a more authentic sailing experience.

What to take with you for Barcelona coastline & port boat tours & sailing
The boat tours are accessible via narrow gang planks so not viable with pushchairs or wheelchairs. It may be possible on las Las Golondrinas but this would probably need to be arranged in advance.
No need for any specialist clothing, just dress for the weather and take a windproof jacket of fleece because it can get windy on the sea.
There is no bicycle anchorage near to any of the boat tour locations.

Enjoy a boat tour that gives you the opportunity to visit the port, coastline, and beaches of Barcelona. This experience is the perfect activity for children, as it is a unique opportunity to enjoy nature and different views of the city while allowing you to discover all of its emblematic monuments, the symbols of the culture of Barcelona. With the 60-minute tour the Skyline and Beaches Ride the ship will sail from the Portal de la Pau (next to the Drassanes pier, under the Colon monument), and travel for 9 miles.
Enjoy a relaxed journey on an ecological catamaran powered by solar panels with no noise and no vibrations. The catamaran departs from Port Vell waterfront harbor. Sail by the Port of Barcelona, and enjoy the views while feeling the sea breeze. Navigate calmly the Mediterranean waterfront of the city and its marina that opened in 1991.
