Art galleries in Barcelona Capital and Catalunya
Barcelona museums with a strong art collection or exclusively dedicated to the display of art or are based on the work of a famous artist.
Description of Art Gallery
So technically I could have classified Art Gallery as a museum but I thought it might be useful to have a separate list that identifies museums and historic houses that have a large art collection on display.
Art can be paintings, sculpture or collections of decorative objects.
Museums that are run by Barcelona city council are usually free on the first Sunday of the month. Museums outside of the city also have free days as well so check them out.
To find out the specifics of each art gallery click on the photo.
Happy Exploring!
