A guide to Historic houses in Barcelona and Catalunya
Former grand homes & historic houses in Barcelona that open as museums. Historic houses to visit as a day trip outside of Barcelona city.
A guide to Historic houses in Barcelona and Catalonia
Grand houses of the rich and famous Catalan bourgeoise society, many of which have been restored and opened as museums. This includes the Gaudi Houses, Dali houses, and some lesser known houses.
The items in this list show how Catalan society used to live, at least the wealthiest in society! The houses are often filled with furniture and decoration of the period they represent.
Note that most of the houses are not run by Barcelona city Council and so do not have free days on the first Sunday of every month. However, there are a few that are free or only cost a few euros to visit.
